Advancing Markets for Sustainable and Regenerative Agriculture in Speciality Crops
Measure to Improve is proud to partner with the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) to support growers in California and Washington through the USDA Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Program.
Working directly with up to 100 growers across California and Washington to implement conservation practices, measure impact, and connect that work to real market opportunities.
What This Program Is
The USDA Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Program helps specialty crop growers implement conservation practices with financial support, hands-on technical assistance, and a stronger connection between what happens in the field and what the market values. This is a farmer-first program built to support real operations, real implementation, and real opportunity.
What Growers Receive
-

Financial Support
Up to $28,000 per year in program support, including direct cost reimbursement, participation payments, and per-acre incentives.
-

Hands-On Support
Growers receive one-on-one technical assistance, planning support, site visits, data tracking help, and coordination throughout the program.
-

Market Opportunity
The program is designed to help connect conservation practices to product value, so growers are better positioned to communicate their work and capture greater market opportunity.
Measure to Improve’s Role
